An intriguing article came across the AP wire today that informs us we can no longer send wall decorations to our friends in New Jersey state prisons:

I'm not sure what I find more entertaining - that Stephen King actually divised a ligitimate form of escape from prison or that the DOC didn't see this coming.

This made my day.
On the down side, I now need to rethink gift plans for all my New-Jersey-incarcerated friends and relatives. Alack.
And it gets better:

They even sent a taunting letter like in Shawshank.
Yes, and I like how the prosecutor found it that much more galling that they used cheap, generic bikini posters rather than something as iconic as the Raquel Welch poster. They weren't even classy enough to put up, say, Pamela Anderson.
Mike, you should bake your prison friends a cake.
Rita Hayworth, dude. Come on now. Raquel Welch is all well and good I suppose, but a woman whose best-known cinematic outfit is a fur bikini isn't really classing up the joint. So to speak.
Good call on the cake, though.
*mmmm* :( This story took a sad turn today, making it much less entertaining.

Hmm, it makes you wonder if it was murder. It seems embarrassing, but not so embarrassing that you'd commit suicide. I mean, it wasn't criminal negligence I don't think.
Russo, who put up a Rita Hayworth poster?
And it finally comes to a close:
